pretty much forever.The Star Union: once a vast empire connecting thousands of worlds, but its people have been left isolated and stranded following the Collapse. This is the first game I've actually had trouble with in like. The game seems fine once it gets past that part (though I have not played, just looked at menus and things like customization options for the commander. My computer isn't state of the art, but should hardly be considered a potato. I seriously hope this isn't a sign of what's to come with this game where I have to play a slot machine just to get it to function.

I didn't do anything fancy to 'fix' it, just loaded it multiple times. I have the same problem where I start the game and the first screen comes up and the spinny thing doesn't move, the loading bar doesn't fill, and eventually it says 'not responding' and crashes out. however I will say i am less than thrilled. I won't refund it, as I do want to play it, and was pretty excited as you might guess from the time i spent on these forums. That said I don't have much time to really work on it now as I have to take my father out to the doctor and run some errands (I figured this would happen today).

I am having some troubles too, I had to load the game multiple times to get it to work.
